In the NT the statutory separation of the AAPA from Government, the independence and Aboriginality of the AAPA Board and the transparency of any Ministerial review process are fundamental to our record of effectively protecting sacred sites. These strengths have not impeded development and on the contrary have provided clarity, certainty and confidence to invest.
